"Please dear god Bill, fix her." A voice danced around outside of my head. I couldn't tell if I was imagining it, or if it was
real. "I'm trying my damndest son now shut up and let me work." That gruff voice, harshed by years of ciggaretts, I knew
that voice. "Bill?" "Thank god she's awake." That one, that was Louis. Cracking my eyes open, I quickly blinked away the
harsh light that wanted to blind me so badly. Looking around me, I saw Bill working on the wounds that..that...witch had
given me, although I would have loved dearly to call her another name.

Louis was hovering over his shoulder, worry written all over his kind face. And in the corner, the root of my situation, Francis.
Slightly groaning, I tried to sit up. "Oh no little Missy, lay your ass back down. Let me finish up here. You gave us quite the
scare with that little stunt you pulled back there. Almost lost you." I shuttered at the thought of dying. I had made it this far,
there was no way I was going to give up and croak that easily, espically not by some dirty witch that needed a bath more
than she needed to cry.

I lay there as Bill did Gods knew what to me, all I knew as that it hurt like the seven layres of Hell themselves. Finally, after
what seemed like an eternity, he was done and letting me up. I sat up gingerly, everything hurt, including breathing. She had
tried to skin me alive! Grumbling, I rose to my feet, the men watching me with slight worry, as though I was made of glass that
would shatter at the first wrong move. Glaring slightly at Francis, I hobbled around the room. Francis' eyes stalked me like a hawk
as I made my way to the door. "Where do you think you're going?" He snapped at me. I glared back at him. "Right outside the
door to get some air." He just stood up and began to try and block my path.

"Excuse me, what do you think you're doing? I just want to step right outside the door, not run off again, I already learned my
lesson on that." I said, marching up to the door. He just held it open for me. Confused, I walked out, and he followed. I should
have known it wouldn't be as easy as that. He looked away from me as I stared at him. Closing the door, he made sure that
Bill and Louis weren't listening in before he turned to look at me. Forcing a sigh, he fished around in one of his pockets and
pulled out the rope that held Tate's ring. The ring spun lazily around in circles as he held it out to me.

"If this damn thing means that much to you, so much that you'd run away from me, here, keep it. I don't want to lose you
over something as stupid as this." He mumbled. I blushed and took the rope from him. Tying it back around my neck, I hugged
him. I felt him tense up for a moment before he hugged me back. "Zoey, I'm sorry, I really am." I just shook my head and hugged
him tighter. "It's alright, I forgive you."

Just as he was about to tell me something else, I felt the earth shake slightly, as though there was an earthquake starting to happen.
My eyes widened, and I stared at Francis for a second before we both charged back into the safe room. "We need to go out the back, NOW!" Francis snapped, grabbing his gun and tossing me mine. My body protested, all I wanted was sleep and for the pain of the witch attack
to go away. Now I had to face a tank and it looked like those options just didn't want to favor me.
Yes, I know that it is really short, so sue me! I have been on a writing bindge all spring break lol and this has to last you people for this week lol.
